Note the passé composé of these verbs: j'ai su, j'ai connu
You use savoir to indicate that you know a fact or that you know something by heart.
Tu sais le numéro de téléphone de Philippe?
You use savoir + infinitive to indicate that you know how to do something.
Tu sais danser le tango? Il ne sait pas nager.
Connaître means "to know" in the sense of "to be acquainted with". You can use connaître- only with nouns: people, places, and things.
Je connais bien Nathalie.
Me, Te, Nous and Vous are object pronouns. They mean Telling Who Does What For Whom. They always come right before the verb that is linked to.
Me (Examples) Il me parle. Il ne me parle pas. Il veut me parler. Il ne veut pas me marler. ` Oui, elle m'invite au théâtre. Oui, elle me parle au téléphone.
| Nous (Examples) Oui, il nous regarde. Oui, il nous explique la leçon.
|
Te (Examples) Marie t'invite au théâtre? Elle te parle au téléphone?
| Vous (Examples) Le prof vous regarde? Il vous explique la leçon?

L’accent aigu: The aigu accent points to the right and upward é. Only appearing above the letter e, it changes the letter’s pronunciation to ay
L’accent grave: The grave accent points to the left and upward è. It can appear over any vowel, but it only alters pronunciation when over the letter e. While, depending on context, unaccented e‘s may be pronounced several different ways, e‘s with grave accents are always pronounced ehh, like the e in the English word set
Le circonflexe: The circonflexe looks like a little pointed hat over vowels ê. It doesn’t change pronunciation, but it must be included in written French.
La cédille: In French, the cedilla is a little tail under the letter c: ç. It’s used to give the c an ssound instead of a hard k sound
Le tréma: The tréma looks like two dots above a letter ë. It’s usually placed above the second of two consecutive vowels when both vowels are to be pronounced separately
The first way that I learned how to type accents and what I believe is the easiest is to use ALT codes. These codes will work if you are using Microsoft Word, which is great for me and hopefully many of my peers because most of us use Microsoft Word to create documents and then copy and paste them onto our Weebly blogs. You can also use these codes on Weebly.

You can also do french accents on your computer is by using the character map. You hit the start button the go to programs. Then proceed to accessories then it is under system tools it has a list of a whole bunch of accents and symbols.
Now, you may be thinking that this is very helpful if you are on a computer, but what if I want to type accents on my phone? I have a simple solution, just add a French keyboard onto your smart phone.
First, go to your Settings, then open your General Settings
Once you are in your General Settings, go into your Keyboard Settings.
Once you are in your Keyboard Settings, simply press "Add New Keyboard" and add a French keyboard.
Now, when you use your keyboard, you will see a little globe in the bottom left corner. Press this button and it will change your English Keyboard, to a French Keyboard! Now you can easily press letters and there will be an option to use various accents.
I hope you find this post helpful.
Bon chance!
